Sancho's Taqueria

A great place to hang out with the buddies

You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:

SANCHO'S TAQUERIA  --  This resturant is known for it's rather large portions of delicious Mexican dishes and friendly staff. This is a great place to go with a group of buddies for some food and a couple of drinks. Always a plus, this place is clean and well decorated which makes for a fun scene to be around.

All Seasons Cafe and Crepery is a hidden gem in downtown Redwood City. I'm not sure why anyone would wait 40-60 minutes for a table at Stacks when we have one of the best breakfast, lunch, dinner restaurants right here on Broadway. Their extensive menu of both sweet and savory crepes is amazing! Their omelets and pancakes can't be beat. Want a burger, a big salad or an elegant pasta dish? They have that too! The decor is very warm, cozy and modern and can be compared to the look and feel of your favorite corner Starbucks. And on that note, they have a full coffee bar complete with your favorite latte or espresso drink. I highly recommend this family-friendly (and pocketbook friendly) restaurant. All Seasons Cafe and Crepery is located at 2050 Broadway St. in downtown Redwood City.

Thanks for the tip. I've had some disappointing meals in downtown RC. I'll try this next time. Whispers Cafe and Creperie at El Camino and Davey Glen Rd in Belmont is similar and has a nice pateo for warm days.
